Switching Out the Contents of My Suitcase

My cold weather gear served me very well indeed in Alaska! My feet were toasty warm in the Sorels (interestingly a lot of other people were wearing them as well) and the SmartWool base layers were absolutely perfect! 


But it's time to store those items in the closet and repack my suitcase with more cheerful wear 
for the upcoming days in Paris!


The weather forecast shows chillier days than usual,
 so I've included sweaters and a coat for layering.

(and when a lot of walking is planned and a bike ride or two, you can't error on the number of shoes.)


I don't know when I'll have another month quite like this one -
and so I'm absolutely eating up every moment of it!

  1. lucky lucky! wish I was going home (Paris) anytime soon :( Take some warm stuff Paris was under a blanket of snow just a few days ago! Have fun.

  7. Oh what a wonderful month for you! Hoping you have some beautiful weather while in Paris, and no doubt you will look chic as ever! When I went in January it was snowing so I looked more like you in Alaska! Au Revoir...
