We are getting the live tree this weekend and after that it should all be done! Ive been baking and buying, but Im already tired of all that...trying to enjoy the process! I need a nap, too. Have a great weekend. Come see Bethany's home photo shoot! xo Nancy Powellbrowerhome.com
I'm impressed. My husband and I are usually up until about 2am wrapping. :) Maybe this is the year I will get a handle on that situation!! Have a great weekend! Kim
Oh yes, decorations are up, santa's letters delivered and filled, some presents ordered (books from Amazon and handbag from Kipling) and yesterday I needed a couple of aspirins, a neck massage and A LONG NAP...it was very draining but I got it all done in a day, whewww!!! Start enjoying, Alexandra
oh janell - leave it to you to have things under control. i so do not. i havent started shopping yet. where did xmas come from this year? it just snuck up on me! i need to get a tree stat. oh boy...
Wow, you're really on top of things. Nicely done. I'm almost done with shopping ( thank God for the Internet), but I have yet to wrap presents. We're making Christmas cookies this weekend though:)
Decided to scale way back with decor this year. Seems like the time between taking holiday stuff down and putting it back up gets shorter every year! Yikes! Kind of fun to put out less, and in different ways around the house!
That is great Janell! Now you can sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday season. I'm not ready yet. I think we'll be simplifying this year. Enjoy your weekend!
Four trees are up and I only have six left to put up... but this year I am overloading the christmas shine and sparkle into each room... There's nothing like the twinkling lights at night... and yes to the nap!!
Our neighborhood had a huge holiday home tour today and I was treasurer so I am relaxing this weekend, sending Dad and kids to Christmas shop for mommy and doing our Christmas cards! Happy Weekend.

I'm REALLY cutting back on what I'm doing this year because we have a little baby...otherwise I'll feel all stressed and grumpy!
Oh and YES I did order the faux fur snood! Can't wait for it to arrive!!
