Anna, James & An Unlikely Reminder On Halloween

Anna Wintour and James Bond...an unlikely pairing and a reminder this year on Halloween.
Missing was the Greek Goddess, off with friends in another neighborhood
for perhaps her last year of Trick or Treating.

For years my daughter wanted me to dress up for Halloween and I'd give it a halfhearted effort.
So this year, when she came up with the ideas for all our costumes, I decided to join in with zest.

But when she wasn't part of our festivities last night, too busy elsewhere,
it brought home the reality that sometimes there's a window of opportunity and then it passes.

Embrace the moment.

  2. You look amazing! I'm glad my hub and I indulged our kids this year. We felt a little ridiculous in our costumes, but they loved every minute of it!

  6. I love your costumes, but oh, this post made me so sad! That's it. We're doing family costumes next year while my toddler is still willing to be seen with me.

  7. Jen...I know. I was very sad when she told me what she wanted to do on Halloween, and I knew I had to let her do it. She's growing up, but I felt sick to my stomach with regret over all those years I said to both of us, "next year." A big reminder! But she had a great time, and I survived! :) Janell

You and Max look sensational and it is important to him that you dressed up, and understateably important to Isabella that you took her lead..she's probably bragging about you and your costume right now!
