"Frightening Scenes" From Our House
Never could I have predicted I'd be posting a photo of a "wig bearing husband" and an attempt to trim the wig into something more closely resembling an Anna Wintour bob. Never, I tell you.
Well, it's not like I could just lay it out on the table to trim!
As a side benefit, however, it did provide hilarity for the kids.
My Anna Wintour costume is a bit behind schedule.
Fortunately James Bond has already arrived - and was a big hit at a weekend party!
Seeing where that costume started gives me hope for mine...

So cute. We are stuck in the house for the next few days riding out Hurricane Sandy. We don't get many hurricanes in New York so it's a big deal here. They have closed all of the schools and shut down NYC. My kids are hoping that they don't cancel Halloween.

Great idea! We're so ready for Halloween, but are waiting for Frankenstorm to hit! I'm very much hoping Halloween won't be cancelled for the second year in a row!

My son was James Bond last year - I downloaded the theme song on my ipod and put it on repeat and stuck it in his pocket with a little speaker - he was sick of the song by the end of the night but at least everyone figured out who he was.
Your husband is a good sport! Max looks stellar- can't wait to see everyone!

How fun! Your hubby looks like a very patient man. I would say Max is the most handsome James Bond ever. You'll have to post photos of your costume Janell. I'm staying in to pass out candy tomorrow.
