What Do I Love To Enjoy After Dinner?
I bet a few games of badminton wouldn't have been your first guess,
but that's the answer!
After dinner my husband and I pick up the rackets for a match.
The competition is fierce let me tell you....
It's also a great chance for us to catch up on the day,
and yesterday we even put the kids to work cleaning up the dishes as we played.
{Walking into a mostly cleaned up kitchen was nearly as fun as the games.}
Oh, do I looooooove summer!

Sounds fun, I've oddly never played.
My husband and I like a game of ping pong when the weather permits but sadly, that is not summer here.
When we first finished our house and didn't have much furniture in yet, we moved the ping pong table into the living room, I loved it :)
I've never played! Maybe I'll see if I can get the hubs in on it!
We have a lot of catching up to do!

We do that often. We have a volleyball/badminton net up all the time during the summer. It's tons of fun and the competition is fierce here as well. :)
That sounds like so much fun! I love that the two of you go out for your own fun time, and let the kids do the dishes. A key to a successful marriage that a lot of couples forget to do.
I do think that would be a super-fun thing to do after dinner! Great idea!
We have a badminton net set up in our back yard and play every opportunity we have. I love that game!
Oh I loved badminton! I haven't played in years....hmm must change that!
I make my kids clean up their toys at the end of the day or during clean up time. Can't wait till they graduate to dishes! LOL

How fun! A great way to unwind at the end of the day, catch up with your hubby and a little exercise. I haven't played badminton in years but remember loving it. I think we need to find space in our backyard for this. So glad you shared this Janell! The other outdoor game I like is croquet.

We do that too. It is the official Summer game at our house. Love it!

We put our badminton net up in the front yard sometimes during the summer so that all the kids in the cul de sac can get in on the fun.
