I love these rooms! The colors and patterns work so well together and make the rooms look so layered and interesting. This is such a tricky balance for me - bringing a room together like this without it looking too busy or not well thought out is a honed skill. ;-)

Love Katie's work. I can see how she used her own advice and took the colour inspiration from an object: now I can see how the colours in the painting of the girl are repeated in the room adjacent. Great tips!
I love everything about that first room. The wall color is perfect...I know seeing it online an sort of manipulate it a bit but it looks like a "dusty" off-white-ish color. Perfection. Does she give details on paint and fabrics?

She has a great talent for using a lot of color and pattern without having it be "in your face". I love how she balanced it all with whites and neutrals. A masterful mix for sure!
