When I posted the newly painted birdcage, bringing in a happy pop of color,
I hinted another little bit of prettiness was on its way to my home.
After interviewing Lulie Wallace for the House of Fifty story, and working with her on the painting for the cover, I just couldn't get her work out of my mind. So, I treated myself to a favorite piece spied at her shop.
I'm not sure it will remain in this spot, and I need to figure out a frame...
But oh, what a delicious bit of happiness I know I'll enjoy for years to come!!

Fabulous. I was at a dinner party last weekend singing the praises of original artwork. Makes such a difference in a room I think and as you said, you can enjoy for a lifetime :)
I am loving this! So gorgeous. Brings just the perfect amount of color and playfulness to any space!

I am in love with that blue chair! I've got my eye's peeled for one with a similar shape that I could recover/paint. Love, love, love you're design style!
Oh I love it. Lulie is a friend of mine and is just as cheery as her art!
What beautiful colours in that painting! It looks particularly gorgeous above the chair and cushion with the little peek of the flowers. Paula x
So glad you bought one! I was enamored of your house of fifty cover, she's been a favorite of mine...just gotta save my pennies and get my own!
Yes, I struggled with hitting that "buy" button, but delighted I did! Something I'll treasure more and longer than a handbag or other item I could wish for! :)

What a fantastic painting! I'm a painter and frame all of my paintings. I would recommend a floating frame so that you can see the painting from "edge to edge." Traditional frames have a rabbit which can hide from 1/4 to 1/2" of the circumference of your painting.
Best,
Ann
