It was a pleasure to get to know Holly Irwin just a bit, when interviewing her for the feature on her paintings in the new issue of House of Fifty. I simply adore her work.
And how nice! I just received a thank you note from Holly along with some beautiful note cards featuring her work. Writing a proper thank you is indeed a dying art when firing off an email is just so much easier. But I'll enjoy pulling these out the next time I've got a few to write myself.
Thank you Holly!

So pretty...would love to frame some and put them up on the wall...a house thank you!
Beautiful work, and I love the colors.
Pretty! I would probably have a hard time giving these cards away. I'd keep it all to myself!
It's amazing to me how a piece of art is created. If you dissect it it looks like splotches of paint but in the big picture it all comes together to be something beautiful. I really admire artists and their techniques.
Oh my goodness, Holly's work is beautiful...
Beautiful work and the note cards are so lovely and useful too. I love to send and receive thank you notes - you're right an eamail is just not the same.
I want to be as talented an artist as Holly when I grow up!
Thanks Janell for featuring her beautiful paintings...I could stare at them all day!
Beautiful artwork! Love the note cards, too. I decided to take a public speaking class a couple years ago.....a subject I didn't care much for back in my college days. We had to give a demonstration speech and I gave it on "the lost art of writing hand written thank you notes". I love writing them and it is always so special to see that hand written note in your mailbox.
*** G' mornin' Sweetie! I'll DITTO Bethany 100%~~~ I lovvvve the boots pic!!!
