So apparently adding these flower shaped brass bobesches to my chandelier...
{after stripping it of paint}
...was right on trend!
{crystals and round light bulbs were also added for an extra little funk}
Because...look at this new light fixture I just spotted.
From Circa Lighting, the Darlana Large Chandelier by Sandy Chapman.
Seeing it made me smile...

You're always right on trend...that's part of what makes you and your blog (and your magazine) so awesome!!
I'm with Nancy and Judy! BTW, I LOVE looking at your dining room. I just pinned it yesterday!
Ditto...I would expect no less than being on trend from such a thoughtful and stylish gal as you! Your fixture rocks!

Of course you are on trend.....duh.......and I am loving both your light and the one pictured. I like that yours has a little more modern feel to it though......
thanks to you, I discovered antique gold Rub N Buff and thce rest is history! I added the small clear round bulbs to our chandelier and loved the look but they ended up being too bright so I used the dimmer a lot. Just switched to regular round bulbs because of the glare and my eyes are happier. Prefer the appearance of the clear, however. Crystals add that touch of glam!
Oh I love when that happens! Looks awesome :)
Love that chandy! turned out so cool. i love it when I do something and turn around and see it somewhere. That's the BEST!:)

My friend showed me a picture of your chandelier several months ago via DecorPad. When she showed me I was like, "Wait a minute...I've seen that before!" Then I promptly led her to your blog for the specifics. That confirmed it...I read too many blogs!
I like yours better. It looks like it has the perfect mix of funky & modern.
Love it! I like the simple lines of yours better - looks a little more modern and fresh :)
That dining room is seriously amazing!! I love that super wide runner and that chandelier just sets everything off perfectly!

The round light bulbs and your additions just make your light shine! Makes a big impact. Love it!
I remember those posts on your chandelier transformation...inspiring as always. No surprise your talented eye was right on trend!
Janell, even if it were not a trend you have great taste and the chandelier does look amazing with how you have transformed it.
Lovely! What a creative transformation.
Both lovely but I actually prefer the lines of yours. This could be another case of manufacturers turning to blogs for inspiration.
Your dining room is one of my favorite ones ever! I have to admit I love your chandelier more!
Well i think your a trend setter. Doesn't that make you feel good when you find something and fix it up and than you see it for a whole lot more.It looks beautiful above your table...
