Thinking Beyond the Wrapped Gift

With so much focus on finding just the right gift and a moment to get them wrapped...
It's also a perfect time to keep in mind the truly limitless ways in which we can give
during this holiday season & throughout the year!

All great ideas. After doing them, you feel better than having a good hair day.

These are great ideas! My fiance and I are planning on volunteering but we are waiting until after christmas and then will continue to do it throughout the year. While this is the time to make a difference, it seems like this is the ONLY time most people do.

I'm in this mindset right now too! Our church is hosting 20 homeless people for the month of January, with meals and a place to sleep. Then they will move on to the next church, and then the next... it feels good to be involved, and I get to see the people who benefit.

Totally agree and I love how you cover many things that don't involve giving money, but instead time or effort (like patience)...something all of us have! I did a post on a few charities that I think are just great if you (or your readers) are interested: http://bjdhausdesign.blogspot.com/2011/12/giving-with-purpose.html
