Now This Is How I Need To Use Color!

Now if this had been the approach used recently to bring color into my home, through accessories, drapes and smaller pieces of furniture...rather than by painting a room in Coral...perhaps my family would not have staged their boycott.

Simply fabulous.

  1. This is beautiful! I have been re-thinking re-upholstering my new cane chairs that are that chartreuse color. I think I will just start by painting them white! This give me so much inspiration thanks for sharing! Sorry the light fixture did not work out.

  2. That room is beautiful. But it might be hard to switch out any of the items because you would be locked into those colors. So I couldn't do it. A little too matchy for me.
I would give my right arm for that sofa though.

  13. That is a fabulous and fun living room. I love the pops of bright color . That striped chair is whimsical! Shelli's nursery is wonderful! I saw that awhile back and toured Shelli's home on her blog. She is very talented and has a great sense of color and style.

  14. Indeed the pops of colour really brighten up the space and makes things easy to change up, but what really grabs my attention is the rug.

The scale is perfect, bringing both spaces together. The dark colour grounds all of the lighter coloured elements in the room....LOVE IT!

  20. so cheery and delicious! I don't think I could commit to that much colour though - maybe the pillows and drapes so I could switch them out more easily than upholstery :)

  22. It's funny how the combo of yellow and pink is popular again. A year or so ago I never would have thought of mixing the two.
