Yes, I'm quite behind on a list of thank you notes, but after a quick little project I no longer have any excuses! Time to get writing...
Several weeks ago I bid on this sweet 'thank you' stamp at an auction to support the Wayman family's adoption efforts, knowing I could really use it. Happily, I won!
It quickly arrived from the Etsy shop Primele in this adorable little bag.
Yesterday I had a spare moment, so I pulled out sheets of cardstock in a range of neutrals and a red ink pad.
After stamping a dozen cards or more...
...and folding each in half, I now have a nice stock of lovely thank you cards.
Now to find my pen.

Great idea! I need to start on some thank you cards myself!
Thanks for the idea!
Really great looking stamp - "Thank You" for passing it along - Nice resource to have.
Also looking forward to House of Fifty!
I love quick projects like that. My sister and her daughters love creating stamped cards, they use an embossing tool sometimes which gives the cards even more of a finished look.
So much fun! These look great!
But the thing I like most is that you just happened to have a "stock-pile" of paper. I love being able to start a project when I get the urge because I have a "stock-pile" of materials!
Have fun!
Yes Sally J, and I could actually find the drawer of card materials because of my hall closet organizational project tackled the first of the year! Amazingly, that closet remains clean and organized. Loving that! Janell
That is such a cute stamp! Love your cards.
And I want to Thank You for writing your great blog. It's always full of inspirational ideas.
It's so smart to make your own stationery--because it's so inexpensive! These cards look great--just like EVERYTHING you do.
Warmly, Michelle
I need one of those!!!
So pretty!
That's a great stamp! Your cards look nice.
What a cute stamp! I think that is great and economical way to go! I have a few I need to send out myself. I went down to McMinnville from Seattle last weekend with the girls to take care of my niece and nephew. I was was hoping for a stop at Bridgeport to meet my best girlfriend from College but ran out of time. I was quite bummed. I will need to make another trip soon. I would love to meet this you sometime!
i really like the ink colors you used for the stamping. it's so nice to get a thank you card, and seeing those cheery colors would make it double the nice-ness.
:)
Great stamp! Funny, my daughter and I were doing the same thing last night for her bday thank yous. I found a small thank you stamp at JoAnn's so I stamped and she signed. ;)

I too am behind on a list of thankyou notes so this is a very timely post for me. Thanks for the reminder! Nicolex
Ever since living on the internet I've become so bad at sending nice handwritten Thank You notes. Cheat by e-mailing TY's...need to get back to it!
Oh, I'm so pleased you won the Thank You stamp. I remember you saying that you were so hoping to get it. I can see why. It's lovely!!
I really enjoy making Thank You cards. It's on of the areas that the convenience of email will never replace for me.
I'm so looking forward to seeing what you link up tomorrow at the Define Your Blog link party at my blog. More than looking forward, actually, I'm thoroughly intrigued!!
