Turning Off The Computer...For A Few Moments Anyway!

I have been enjoying a few days of rest & relaxation with family and friends....

I loved this image when spotting it on a newer blog I'm enjoying, Maison Marigold.

How perfect...especially with the kids on Spring Break and the fact I unintentionally left my computer behind when leaving for a little trip with the family. I'll admit it, at first I felt panic when I made the discovery. Then I realized I was mostly caught up on work and few days away from my computer would be really great! So after writing this post on my husband's computer...

I'm signing off and will be back in a couple days.

Yeah! I went computerless on our trip to Vancouver and I am so glad I did. All of me slowed down and enjoyed being in the moment more.

Hope you are having a wonderful time with your family. I will be waiting for you when you get back.

Go House Fifty, Go!

Warm hugs, Mon

So glad you had a chance to unplug for a while. As much as I love the internet and the inspiring blogs like yours that come along with it, sometimes we all just have to get outside and truly interact with society. Hope the trip was GREAT!

I may have to adopt this at some point in time. Our computers are like appendages! A nice unplug is healthy for everyone!

Oh I could not have come to a more perfect place!! I just decided yesterday I'm afraid I haven't really "seen" my family for a long time because my head has been buried deep down in my MAC laptop. So I'm in NY this week-doing something big-going out and MEETING people. Wow life is back!

Good for you! We could all use a break now and then. Love that "SHUT DOWN COMPUTER" sign. I should probably put one of them in my office as a friendly reminder... :-)

Yes. I'm not working on my house (getting anything DONE!) because I'm writing too much! I had a shopping spree for decorations and its been 3 days! Love that sign! Enjoy!
