I like! my living room is a similar color
I appreciate it but doubt I would ever go bold and do it myself. That said, I have seen many rooms especially lately that have papered or painted in very bright and bold colors and some are just gorgeous...I personaly though prefer soothing and serene spaces to counteract at times, my hyper type personality which needs calming:)

That is gorgeous! And they can totally pull it off with those huge windows. I always tell people to get a good feel of the lighting in their new house before they start putting paint on the wall.
I think it works because there is so much natural light in the room. Every color decision has to take into account the lighting. I love kelly green, especially with navy!
I'm in that predicament right now. I want to go bold, but I'm nervous!

Not for my own home,but have suggested bright colors for small powder rooms if the client could handle color. Lime green and Navy have been the two colors I have worked with for clients and it was really fun projects to work on!!With doses of lots of white and/or black and white it can be amazing!!! KS
The bright green is perfect with St. Patrick's Day coming.
But I couldn't live with it all year.
We have a beautiful guest bath with a chinese red wall. It looks wonderful with ou salvaged teak countertop.
I think the kelly green accent wall in the white bathroom is striking!

Thanks for your great Houzz ideabooks, Janell. Love this blog. I LOVE the kelly green. My daughter and I were just discussing what color she'd like her b'room to be, since we just moved, and the colors in the bath are dark brown and white...kelly green would be fab!!
