An Addition To Max's Room!

Last week I showed how Modern Bird Studios had transformed one of my favorite photos of Max into a wonderful piece of art.

As soon as it arrived Max knew exactly where he wanted it hung. I find it very sweet how proud he is of his portrait.

Saturday I got out my bag of OOK hanging hardware...I love this brand...and hung the portrait on the wall. In Max's words, in a spot "where everyone can see it when they come into my room!"

Yes, it is kind of an odd place to hang the piece, isn't it? But it works and I just love how great the colors look in the room.

{And as a reminder, time is running out to enter the Modern Bird Studios $250 gift certificate Giveaway, to have one of your favorite photos turned into a memorable piece of art. The giveaway runs through Tuesday night at midnight, PST, see this post to enter!}

That picture is so cute! Odd place, but it definitely will be seen by everyone who enters his room! Although, the guitar may compete with it;-)

I love the picture and I looks perfect in his room! Is that a Lipstick Red Fender Stratocaster I spied???

Yes, Max is the budding musician, after beginning piano lessons he got all crazy about music and is now attempting to learn the guitar. Has all kinds of plans for his future band. Oh lordy, help his mother!! A neighborhood friend of his just got a set of drums...so you see where this is going, and fast!

The placement of the picture is fantastic - and it is all his. That is really great how you have let him make this room his with all the choices and him being the client. It just looks great!

That turned out so nice. I know that is one of your favorite pictures of your son, what a wonderful way to preserve it.

I love that Max has such definite opinions about his room. What I love even more is that YOU let him hang it wherever he wanted whether it was where you had in mind or not. That is being a super MOM in my book. By the way I think it looks great where he hung it and the reason behind hanging it there is priceless, so everyone can see him as soon as they enter his room, I just LOVE that!!! What a little cutie, Happpy Monday,KS

I think Max chose the perfect place to display his picture. It'll put a smile on anyone's face who enters his room. What a fun guitar he's got there!

Is that blue stripe chalkboard paint??? If not, maybe it should be.

By the way. The colors for the Max picture do fit so well.

Janell @ Isabella and Max said...

The chalkboard paint from Benjamin Moore does have quite the blue undertone to it, despite being "black"...it's one thing I love about it. True black would have been too heavy!

Oh gosh Janell I almost missed this! What a wonderful way to play with an already darling photo.
Max takes great pride in his room and you have got to just love that. Tell him that we think that is the absolute best spot ever for his portrait!
By taking the time to consult with him regularly, you two created a room that he can be proud of for a good while as he continues to mature!
Oooo I hope I win!
