New Blog Design By Shari of Little Blue Deer!My blog has a new look, thanks to the talented Shari of little blue deer! The update is in preparation for a new project that is in the works, and I will share more about that next week.
In the meantime, can I point out a couple of my favorite features?
The button...pure button happiness I say!
And the sidebar frames: sometimes a bit of simple is all you need to feel happy! I love the angular lines and how they relate to the lines in the pattern seen on the header.

And speaking of the pattern on the header, look for my latest Houzz Ideabook tomorrow, in which I talk about Chinese Fretwork in design. I was inspired to find more examples of fretwork after Shari proposed this unique pattern, that I'm now quite infatuated with!

I have a new blog design as well, I won it. It is getting a few tweaks still as one of the fonts doesn't display well in full screen. BUT one day I will go for the full deal and get a whole overall blog design!
