I LOVE Lisa Leonard's stuff..... I would get the "Word of the Year" necklace... for my mom.. it would say "Strength". This past year, right before Christmas, she was diagnosed with lung cancer... a very very rare form.... and 2 months later.. she is CANCER-FREE! This, coming on the tails of losing my father-in-law the month before, my own father the year before, and my grandparents (my mom's parent's) the year before that. All of cancer. She's a warrior!!

I'm actually new to jewelry and decor but I'm learning quickly by looking at blogs. I had a few favorites...there were two pair of earrings; the crystal drop and the cream freshwater pearls-I love them! But my other favorite was the Whoo do you love? necklace simply because I had my first boy after three girls and his stuff is owls! He also has huge eyes so owls are quite fitting for him.
The hope is the thing necklace is a beautiful quote that is just what one needs to be reminded of. But the dewdrops necklace is lovely, too. As is the oval monogram necklace. Can I have three favorites?!

I'd love to have the leather "love you" bracelet - yes, the man's - for my tomboy daughter. She barrel races horses and loves to be in the barn. Wears jeans and Ts and cowBOY boots. She would like the bracelet and, as she has entered those tender/tough years of adolesense, the small, subtle reminder of mom & dad's love would be heartening on a tough day.
