Today I'm At House Of Turquoise!

I adore the blog 'House of Turquoise' and was delighted when Erin asked if I would be a guest blogger. Today I'm sharing how I've used turquoise in my home, click here to read the post and visit her blog.

Also, if you haven't already done so, click here to enter for a chance to win a $75 Stella & Dot gift certificate. With such great jewelry styles to choose from there is sure to be something you would enjoy selecting for yourself, for a person on your gift list...or both!

Now I'm off to begin preparations for Thanksgiving dinner. Our family was at the beach the last several days, so I am just a bit behind! How about you, are you ready?

And good luck with your preparations! We're bringing two pies tomorrow along with a side dish. I had never made a pie from scratch before, so I did a test run apple pie on Saturday. It came out okay, so here's hoping tomorrow's pie will turn out just as good!

I'm glad you had some time away to rest up before Thanksgiving.
I'm doing all my prep work today so tomorrow isn't so hectic. I'm also trying my hand at making a pumpkin pie from a fresh pumpkin.
I still need to buy a frozen pie so I have a back-up in case my pie flops.
Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family!

Our plans to host Thanksgiving changed when my brother invited to his home. I have to admit, sleeping in and relaxing the day before Thanksgiving instead of spending the day prepping is pretty nice!

I'm on my way to check out your guest post.

Not in the least bit ready for TG, but there are only 2 of us so a small chicken will do the job!
Hope you have a wonderful day.

I love this room - I've seen in another post of yours and just thought is was so pretty. The colors are not what's expected in a girl's room, but mesh so well together. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love all shades of blue. IN fact when a carpet cleaning (Kansas-based) went to our house, they were amazed to see all shades of blue. Most likely the same reaction that the other
carpet cleaning (Kansas City, MO-based) had when they cleaned my house. Your post is another inspiration. I can't wait to try it.
