I've always wanted to do a black and ivory room, and if I could do that anywhere in the house, it would be the kitchen, like in that gorgeous photo. It's just so timeless, I think. Have a happy weekend!

WOW! A new look! It is very polished and lovely, but I have to say, it'll take a little getting used to, only cause I grew so familiar with your old standard. I noticed the new look too. I agree with Michiganhome that it will take me a bit to get used to because I have been reading your blog daily for over a year. Congrats on your new look!!! Woohoo!
Thanks for the comments on the new look of the blog! The design is about 1/2 done, still need to have the menu added, which will bring the content of my website over to this blog and provide more organization of the blog content. Soon...I hope!!!

My latest crush is white and black together with cognac. Still striking but with a touch of warmth.

First, I LOVE your new blog look! So classy!
That first pic is fantastic - I love the effect of the big mirror and those black wing chairs are awesome. Of course the second pic is right up my alley - if you ever grew tired of the stripes, it's so easy to change up the room completely just by removing a rug and cushions. A great theme for Halloween weekend - hope yours is wicked! :)
