'The Japan House'
Max
'Untitled'
Isabella
Not all the painting around the house this summer has been on walls, DIY projects and furniture. At the rate Isabella and Max are painting canvases, I may just have to create a giant art wall in our home's entry...

These are just gorgeous! I bet they are so proud to show these masterpieces off.
Such fabulous art! I am so the advocate of orginal art.
Those are great! Definitely deserving of an art wall!
you have some serious talent there!
You have a beautiful home full of artist! A gallery wall it is...
I think that's a great idea! I'm a huge fan of giving kids canvases and GOOD art supplies to go to town with. My grandmother gave them to us when we were little, and never cared if we made a mess...fast forward many years and my sister is a children's book author and illustrator, and I'm an art director! Thanks Gram!
I always love to see kid's art and especially these. I can see that talent runs in the family. Great stuff with such nice colors and composition - You have some artists on your hands!
Heather, my grandmother gave me my first set of oils, brushes and canvases. I loved that gift and it obviously had an impact on me, as yours did on you and your sister! Janell
At first I thought you were about to link us to an abstract artist...but these are far more interesting and sentimental. L O V E !!!
Janell, I love your talent and it runs in the family I see!! There is nothing more special to treasure!!

I have always thought that would be a great idea. Now I just need some kids to help with that art wall.
Great job kiddos, great colors!
I need to take the paints out for my 4 year old.
I am planning the exact thing-a giant art wall up our stairwell off the entry! I am collecting frames slowiy as it is a lot of wall space. My plan is to mix in family photos, the kids photos by their artwork mixed in with other found objects! I just love childrens' artwork, maybe that is why I love the work of Paul Klee.
what talented little ones you have! I'm loving the roofline on Isabella's house! : )
Ooh! A giant art wall would be fabulous!!! Your kiddos are very talented!!!...just like momma! :)
Yes, I can't tell you how delighted I was when I spied Isabella painting a pagoda roof line! And Barbara, your art wall sounds perfect! Janell
Love it! Every home needs a kid art wall! Your kids are naturals!
LOVE! Pure uninhibited art! Frame those babies!

Love it! Maddie and I do a little mini preschool class every monday morning and I have some new "ice cream" art to go with the "teddy bear" art I received last week. I am thinking of photographing her projects to use in a poster or as prints in our new home.
very talented indeed ...love it XX
You're probably the best mom ever. I don't think I'd ever let my kids paint on a canvas and they definitely wouldn't look that good!

Janell - as a stop-gap while you're planning your art wall, you could consider "giving" each of the kids his or her own key wall space at unusual but small places. My son used to trade out his art - we used the same frame and he often would make three or four pictures before he decided that one deserved to go up in his "spot." He's 24 now, and one of my favorite art pieces in our home is a Picasso style portrait of me. No one realizes it was painted by a child until they look closely and see "Happy Father's Day" painted where the signature would normally go! He was 10 I think....
Im all for a GIANT art wall...what a great idea! :)
