I have to say, I am feeling some stencil happiness! The wall turned out better than anticipated, adding a lot of interest and character to a wall that had not gotten much attention prior to this project.

The pattern is called Mirium, available from Whitewall & Company.
This project has inspired me to return and finish the space, after I complete the Master Bedroom Redesign in early fall. Tall cream drapery panels hung at the window and a new light fixture would really complete the look. See...I will most likely never be done with my house. Aren't you glad?!

Wow! I think you have just reconciled me to stencilling!! I still had that 80's image of friezes and borders, but this is great. Well done, your ideas seem to be faultless!

It looks fantastic! (And I'm glad you still have a to-do list for your house - I love seeing all your projects!)
Looks fabulous! I just found your blog and I love it. Do you mind me asking what color/brand paint you used on your walls? I've been looking for the perfect gray and it's so hard to find. Thanks! :)
The stencils look awesome!!! I am definitely giving the company a look...might have to do a little stenciling in my own home.
Happy Monday!
Beautiful job, Janell! Love the boldness it brings to the space!
Absolutely love it! What a huge statement on a small wall that could've easily been forgotten.
Stunning! Completely suits the space and your beautiful home.
Speechless...it is SO fabulous!
Simply Fabulous. NO other words to descibe it.
WOW. I love this! I'm getting ready to do a stencil in our master bedroom, and this made me slightly less afraid of doing it!
amazing! I'm so impressed and inspired to try this in our next house!
This looks awesome. Who knew stencils had come so far! What are you going to do when you run out of rooms to re-create?
It looks even better than I imagined it would. I just love the way that you add special touches in small ways throughout your home.
Pure awesomeness. Looks like wallpaper with a faction of the cost. Phenomenal job Janell!
Wow, that looks amazing!
From an ordinary wall to a super-duper feature wall.
Hmmmm, what can I stencil.... :)
Yes, I'm thinking the same thing...what else can I stencil! A couple other projects are coming up soon! Janell
Too bad the word "stencilling" has such a bad reputation, this one proves that it can be elegant, modern, hip and fresh! I love the way it gives that wall attention, like a piece of vintage jewelry!
As my Mom loves to say "It has Pizaz!"
You should be so very proud!

WOW! It's just stunning. Gave me a fresh perspective on stencils. Now excuse me while I go find the perfect wall in my house to don a stencil pattern...
Love! What a great pattern, and I really like how you did it on such an unexpected wall!!! Plus, I spy that silver Target tray (that I should have bought too) looking gorgeous;)
Oh I love how it turned out! It looks really great. Good job!

Stencilling is addicting. It's so easy and gives such a dramatic change without the commitment of wallpaper.
Gorgeous!!
I've been undecided on what I wanted to do with my stairway wall in my foyer...Its not nearly as large as yours but I'm gonna go for it!
Looks great good thing that wall wasn't huge or you'd still be stenciling!
GORGEOUS! I love how stenciling is making a comeback in a cool, hip way. I have got to find a spot in my house to stencil...thanks for the inspiration!
Wow! It looks awesome! I really love that orange daybed, too. Oooh, I'd love me a daybed!!!
Oh, it looks fantastic!
Your wall turned out fabulous and the cream curtains will be stunning. Beautiful area. Hugs, Marty
AMAZING!!!! Oh Janell this is beautiful! I could not wait to get home and see this! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
And yes, I'm glad that it will be a while before you're ever done with your home;-)
Loving this so much! Great way to make a staircase wall looking amazing!
Yes, count me in as thrilled that you will never be done with your house. More eye-candy for us! The stencilling turned out beyond amazing. I'm also envious of that hot leather chaise and sweet little directoire table.
Where can I find/puchase the little 3-leg table?
What a beautiful space!!! Stunning!!!
So pretty! And I'm swooning over that chaise too. Lovely!
I love it! That wall is gorgeous!
That is so beautiful!
Beautiful! Everything just pops!
beautiful!!! Now Im sure you have this somewhere on your blog-but may I ask what is the name of that wall color? it looks gray on my screen (which I LOVE) Im asking b/c Im getting ready to do a gray and white guest bedroom and Im all about the gray/grey :-)
I really like that, Janell! I love that it is a large pattern and really gives a good presence here. Something smaller would have been too wimpy in this area.
Perfect as always! Yes I am very glad you are not finished with your house! I so enjoy seeing all your projects.
To answer a few inquiries: the little table was found at Target, no longer available, the Freud Chaise is from Mitchell Gold, snagged it when this floor model went on sale. And paint colors, the wall is SW Quiver Tan and the accent is SW Universal Khaki. These paint colors are more tan that gray, a great gray is Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray! Take a look at that color...
Thanks for all the wonderful feedback! Janell
That is beautiful. Great job.
Looks fabulous!!!
amazing! looks like wallpaper....but BETTER (: You're so talented!
That adds so much! Great colors. I didn't like the solid gray wall, but love the effect of the lighter color over it. PS - I want to steal your chaise!
