Using a bunch of my remnant fabrics and trim, Isabella just completely upstaged me in covering a lampshade. I am flipping out at its fabulousness!! More in a post soon...
You tell Isabella that she's upstaged a woman with grown children and several degrees. I spent a week trying to recover two lampshades and I JUST threw them out in disgust yesterday. I'm so jealous of her talent. Today, I did remove our old kitchen faucet and replace it myself, so I'm not a total idiot, but boy, she upstaged me! Beautiful job.
That looks great! I'm really impressed. I love it that my children are getting old enough to do 'proper' craftiness with me - not just painting egg boxes orjunk modelling! I'm really enjoying to teach my oldest two how to sew.
