I hope they do. You have some artists in the family. Nice handwriting and a great picture ;-)

Did you frame the mirror like the chalkboard? Can't wait to see this. And I bet you did it with glue. ;)

Yes, it is drying as I write! I'll post a tutorial on it later in the week, hopefully!! Janell

Hopefully they get the message ;)

Good Luck with the reminders! I had to harassed my 18 yr old and threatened with showing naked pictures of him as a baby on Facebook to get him to fix his room.
Ahhhh, the joy of torturing our kids!

Love the chalkboard! We've got one in our kitchen and no, the reminders don't help but it looks cute (does that count?) : )

probably not! they'll still need some coaxing from mom!
maybe you could write the message backwards, so they can read it when they are standing in front of the mirror! might make things a little more exciting for them to have to "decode" the message.
love the wall color!!

You are right, it won't really help, but I can keep trying. Autumn, brilliant idea! I am going to do this and see if they notice! Janell

Hmmm, good question, Janell! I think your odds are good until they can reach the writing to erase it. : )

Keeping my fingers crossed the reminders work for you (well more like Max and Isabella)

I love it!! My own little notes just stare me in the face and remind me of what I'm not doing :)

I tried this in our boys' bathroom and I believe the response they wrote on the board was no. Lovingly of course. Maybe you will have more luck.

I have been going crazy for chalkboard paint this summer! My newest thing is buying framed pictures (at the thrift) and painting the glass with chalkboard paint, voila, instant chalkboard! Our kitchen is starting to look like a Parisian bistro (not that that is a bad thing!).

It certainly cannot hurt! You'll have to keep us posted!

Very cute! From the comments, it may not happen:-)

However, they can't say that they didn't know what to do!

They turned out great! Can't believe you built these from scratch. Wow.
