I selected Rayogram Grey, a beautiful grey with a hint of blue. (Middle chip on left side of photo.) Look for the start of the project using this paint beginning next week.

In the meantime, with family arriving into town from Alaska, I'm taking a little break. I'll be posting my latest Houzz Ideabook on Saturday and will resume my regular posting schedule next Tuesday.
Enjoy these days of summer and see you back here soon! Janell

I love the various colors that you can get the chalkboard paint in now.
The chips look like art! Have a great long weekend with your family.
Lots of fun options here!
Enjoy your time with your company.
Chips look cool! I plan on using chalkboard paint in my son's room!! Enjoy your time off!!!
i can't wait to see this project! I'm dying to use chalkboard paint somewhere in my house!
That's a beautiful color; can't wait to see what the project is. Also, thank's for your response about how you keep your home looking so nice. I've often thought about starting to have the kids pick up each night, but I honestly think I need to do a better job, first. The real key here, Janell, is that you obviously set a great example for them! Have fun with your family on your mini-break!
Janell, I love all of these colors and I do not a colored chalkboard for my list making!

Thanks!

have fun with family, and, of course, you made the right color choice!
Hi Janell,
I have been reading your blog for a few weeks now and LOVE it. I love to call in every day and see what you have been up to. I love what you have been doing with your bedroom headboard and your island bench in your kichen and love your pendant lights with the fabric shades. I aspire to become an interior designer/decorator one day, but wonder if I walked into a room would my mind just go blank. Does this ever happen to you? Anyway, will look forward to next week when you are back, enjoy your visitors and see you next week.
Take care

Yes, these are absolutely lovely. Funny how simple things like swatches can be so drool-worthy!
lots of great colours! Enjoy your company!
Now I want my next chalkboard DIY to be in color, so fun.
Just what I needed! I am about to put energy into re-doing William's (almost 3) room. I have just (as in the last few days!) started to ask around for different chalkboard colors.
You have no idea how timely this post was! (Royal blue in my case).
Thank you dear, and enjoy time off with your family.

Hope you had a wonderful time with your family and were able to take some time to relax.

Hi there, I have stumbled across you via Google when I typed in Hudson Paint .
I wanted to let you and your readers know that my wife and I have brought Hudson Paint down under and have just finished making our very first batch .We are proud to be an ' Environmentally Conscious Organisation' and we have modified the recipe to very low VOC levels to provide an even better product for you and the environment .
We have also added a couple of colours to the range a bone white called 'Clean Slate ' and a beautiful French style 'Duck egg' for a more contemporary interior look.
We are currently based and manufacturing in Auckland NZ and can be contacted via our website at hudsonpaint.net or email at kevin@hudsonpaint .net or check out our facebook page for paint and a couple of other treats that page wil be up by the end of the wee at Hudson Paint Australasia . Everything is brand new so bare with us . We love the paint and have already had great feed back .
