How To Get A High End Look For Less - Table Lamps Part 2

This lamp is one of my all time favorite "before & after" projects...I simply love how beautifully the base turned out!

And a great lamp begs for an exceptional shade.

A little trim and this delightful fabric should do the job.

Now I just have to wait for the fabric to arrive...

I am loving those lamps! And that fabric and ribbon is going to set them off, although I do love the shades as is! So, I see that brown and green are part of the color scheme!

This should really bring some character and a nice pattern to the room. I think the ribbon will bring things nicely together. Looking forward to see how this one turns out (as usual ;-)

i love this DIY project so much. We aren't working on the bedroom anytime soon, but when we do I'm going to remember your tutorial. I love your headboard too! It's fabulous!

Love that! And thanks for sharing how you did the lamps...I was thinking of doing that same thing, but wasn't sure it would turn out. Thanks! I'm going to give it a try now! :)

Janell,
Dagi Mara's comment says, "The lamp looks wonderful! I love the before-after projects!"

I spend some time living in Cologne. Had to learn a bit of Deutsch!

I LOVE what you've done with these lamps! The new color is perfect. Where do you find all of the great pendant-style shades? I've seen a few here and there (and I agree on Lamps Plus being a good source) but I can't believe Target, Ikea and what not have not figured out that they are the style everyone is looking for :).

Janell, is that ribbon green with blue stitching? If so, where did you find it?!
