(PB Standard Hardware in Antique Bronze)
There I spotted this option by Umbra. Loft, in a finish that I thought might be perfect.
I liked the simple finial, very similar to the Endcap style I had selected from the Pottery Barn hardware line. The metal also felt heavy and actually looked like metal, (unlike the plastic looking "metal" a lot of hardware in this price range seems to have). The mounting hardware appeared fairly substantial as well. Both of these characteristics seemed to answer my concerns about whether the design would be sturdy enough to carry the weight of the panels. But the factor that caused me to pick up two boxes and place them in my cart? The price. Less than a third of the original choice. I figured it was worth a try at this savings.
My goal is to at least cut the panels this weekend...sometimes the hardest step in a project is to just get started!

Looks great! I love the shades you have hanging in the windows too! Where are they from?
Good choice I'm sure it will look gorgeous along with the pretty fabric.
Why is hard to start,is it the cold weather? We had snow in North Georgia. So i understand.
Can't wait for the curtain to be hang!
I've used rods from the Umbra line before and have been pleased with them too. Great choice. They look good with the lantern and I agree that you'll never give the brackets a second thought once the curtains are hung. Best of luck with the panels this weekend. :-)
This looks great! I need to swap out rods in one of my rooms and may go check these out! Look forward to seeing the final result.
Speaking of drapery rods -My neighbor has alot of bamboo. If I get some and use as a rod in my family room, do I need to worry about bugs?
I am assuming that you will know. Ha! Maybe I should post about that.
Yours look nice, so far!

Looks great! The pretty design on the fabric will catch everyone's eye, not the brackets. I can't wait to see the finished results!
Okay this Target thing has got to stop! I absolutely loved your table tray and now your endorsement for curtain rods! Two other blogs I visit had posts about Target purchases this week too - one about glasses and one about a floral wreath! I'm definitely going there soon.
Love 'em! I just purchased and hung some pewter rods from Target and I am very happy with them. I am also very happy that they cost a fraction of the price that Restoration Hardware was charging for a VERY similar style!
I agree, Janell. Sometimes the hardest step is just getting started! {Been there!} Love the hardware you got. JC Penney and even Walmart {where I had to go in a pinch for one job} have some decent rods and prices. After all, as long as they stay up, you hardly see the hardware itself once the window treatment is on it.
Don't you love a better deal? They look great! I could not agree more with your last line...the story of my life!
Great find; Umbra Loft is a great brand I've found a ton of great stuff from them over the years. Can't wait to see the drapes up!
Have a great weekend, Janell!
Can't wait to see you window treatments when finished.
TGIF!!!

I put the same rod up in my dining room and it has been great! love it, and haven't thought about the brackets since that day! :) looking forward to seeing your finished room!!
The shades are from Mark Window Products, love them. Also in the master bath. Unfortunately, the company went out of business. :(

Feel a little jealous that you have this 'mecca' called Target. We don't have the equivalent in the UK.

Great choice! I can not stress how excited I am to see that fabric hung!!
I'm finishing up the painting in the master so "hopefully" I'll have pictures to share!
What I am drooling over is your trim work. Gorgeous!
You have such good taste! I often find just thr right thing at Target. I bet you're right ~ once up, the brackets will fade away!

Very interested to hear about your Target hardware - I stumbled into buying similar from Home Depot (Levolor) and am totally unimpressed by them!!
Playing catch up on your drapery project AND office project...they both look great of COURSE!
A real taste of interiors!!
I gone through Umbra Store, I like a wall decor products, is very stylish and elegant n want to redecorate my bedroom with.
Curtain Hardware
I thought that these curtain rods are expensive but I can't believe that the are not. But these rods looked so beautiful and elegant. Same goes with my metal curtain rods at home. They are also beautiful and I actually bought them to brass suppliers near our place. And I even got an old brass tube that I turned into a curtain rod. And it really looked so nice!
