Snowflake Tree Skirt

In the end,
the Snowflake Tree Skirt project turned out fairly well.

We had trouble cutting through the thick layers,
(Not as easy as cutting a paper snowflake I discovered!)
and I'm not crazy about how bright the pink is...

But after the tree was placed in the center...

with presents covering the majority of the skirt,
so that just a bit of its edges are showing...

It looks pretty.

And most importantly,
ready for the kids on Christmas morning!

Are you ready?!

  5. I think it looks great, Janell! They are all covered up most of the time so no one gets to really enjoy them anyway.

    I'm as ready as I'm gonna be! : )

  6. I like your tree skirt! are we ready? hmm....the kids are, but me, not so much:( I'm not in the Christmas spirit anymore. I hate it when 1 person can change your mood. Oh well....

  7. I love the skirt! It is original and lovely! I found out that some of Lauren's stocking stuffers aren't going to make here for Christmas per Amazon. Oh well, she has more than enough! Nana arrived today. Lauren is in her glory. Her cousins arrive tonight. Then she'll be delirious :) I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

  10. It looks wonderful -- your hot pink and turquoise color scheme is such fun! And yes, we're ready; leaving tonight for FL to spend the holiday with Dave's family so I had to ship everything last weekend for it to arrive in time. If nothing else, spending Christmas out of town forces you not to procrastinate!

    Merry Christmas, Janell!
