There was no further discussion on which desk to bring into the room, once Isabella saw a photo displaying all the marvelous compartments inside the drawer of the
Windham Desk. This has been her dream...really!

I agreed with her choice, though the
CUSTOMER ASSEMBLY REQUIRED label did cause some concern. What a nice surprise, however, when the desk was unpacked and built in five minutes...literally. No tools, no screws and bolts, and no directions requiring an engineering degree to follow.

It only took another five minutes for the drawers to be filled and the drawing to begin. This is a desk that will get a lot of use over the next several years. So it was a great choice, a good balance of cost and quality. All that was left to do was remove the silver knobs and replace them with the whimsical
'Timepiece Knobs' from Anthropologie.

What's next? Mirrors, both a full length wall mirror and this sunburst mirror. It was purchased for just a few dollars several years ago and has been patiently awaiting the day I would find a use for it. The frame has some nicks, but after bit of sanding and painting I'm certain it will shine.

Her room is beautiful! I love seeing it all come together. Now I want to see your son's room! I have a little boy and I need some ideas! We are about to redo his room because he thinks it is too babyish.
