The Latest Project In Our Home
This is not about design, but this is BIG, in a very small package! Our first dog...first for Isabella and Max, first for me! We are having a blast, though can't quite settle on a name.
Early contenders for this project are: Jack, Monk (inspired by him being advertised as a "Spunky Monkey"), and Roscoe. Do you have a vote or other suggestions?!?!

This one is a close call for me but I am giving the nod to Roscoe by a nose over Monk.
Sooo Caaauuute! We had a Lab named Jack and he was a pretty laid back kind of fella! Your dog look like he may have a little more sponk, but I don't think you want to yell out at the park "Here sponky Monky" Too funny!.

I actually love Monk, although I think I'd nix the Spunky Monkey. And Monkey is a cutsie nick-name for him, too. He's so adorable!
It's amazing how quickly you get attached to pets. I was adament that I didn't want a dog when my mom and sister found ours, but here we are 13 years later, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Our dog, Shelby, has brought so much joy to our lives...pet ownership truly is an amazing experience!
What about "Satchmo", after Louis Armstrong's nickname? I always loved that name.
What a cute puppy. Isabella and Max look so happy. I'm partial to "S" names... We've had a Shalom, Suzie, Sandy, and two Sally's!
Chico. My girl dog's name is "Chica" which is girlfriend in Spanish. I think Chico is just a spanish name, but I love it. I also like Spade - black like the Ace of Spades .....Kona, like the coffee....can you tell I like dog names?
It is amazing to me how quickly I can make decisions when it comes to design, but faced with naming a dog I became completely indecisive. I dreaded selecting a name that I would regret! Plus two children's votes had to be considered. I wasn't certain Roscoe was the right choice until I heard Max call "Roscoe, Roscoe" today. Coming out of his month the name sounded absolutely perfect...so Roscoe it is!
Sooo cute. Is this a pug? We have a little puggle (mix between pug and beagel) named Roca, after my son's favorite candy, Almond Roca.
Ooooh, so cute! I have a black pug too and his name is Mac. I just saw an episode of the Dog Whisperer and he was working with a black pug named Boo. I thought that was pretty cute. I know I am a little late to weigh in on the name but please post what you decided on!
